SoCAL HUB announces funding of two new projects aimed at improving robotic/AI systems

A proposal spearheaded by UC Riverside and UC Irvine to work with scientists from Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) on building a new class of ensemble-based methods for robust computer vision, was fully funded at $200K. A second proposal, lead by UC Riverside and UC San Diego will also work with LANL to improve training methodologies for autonomous systems that work in unstructured environments. This project was also fully funded at $200K.
